Manual therapy is a specialized area of physical therapy using hands-on techniques for treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. A musculoskeletal disorder can occur when a body part is required to work harder, stretch farther or function at a higher level than it is prepared or able to do. Manual therapists are specially trained to identify the problem and treat the tissues and/or joints involved to relieve or eliminate pain and restore normal range of motion or function while promoting proper healing. Our Manual Therapy program is led by a Fellowship-Trained Manual Therapist and a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Click for more information about Manual Therapy.
